STARTING DREADS - DON'T GET SCAMMED BY DREADHEAD HQ OR OTHERS

Sorry Folks for not posting for awhile, been very busy. As anyone who knows me, would know, I am a huge fan of Dreadlocks (Not only because I have them), but I am very into many beliefs of Rastafaranism, love Different, creative, artist people and crazy styles including hair. But I also have spiritual beliefs and suffering beliefs entwined with my dreadlock growing phases! I wanted to get this blog out to help educate others to the truth about waxes, tools, accelorators, locking agents, and other crap chemicals that are being pushed by "1920 medicine men" who claim to have the miracle cure all, or in this case the chemicals you need! These chemicals have lead to hundreds of people have large chemical buildup in their semi-formed dreadlocks, breakouts, greasy stinking messy hair, dirt and grime covered looking hair, as well as many I know having to have cut their dreadlocks to bald to start again (which is very time consuming and sad for the unsuspecting dread lover who has spent months or years growing and maintaining their hair.)
Unlike typical myths of Dreads - No most people who have dreads aren't dirty and don't shampoo their hair, actually I am a clean freak and shower and shampoo daily/ conditioning 2x a week.

- Dreads must be maintained to a degree and are harder to live and deal with then regular hair, being a consistentcy almost of wool which can be rough to the face, neck, etc. Dreads are not formed by only not combing of the hair (although some can do this and have or will, the majority must use a method which is very time consuming to start and maintain dreads.)
- Dreads where NOT started by Jamacians, actually dreads have been around since probably the beginning of mankind, not having combs nor very "clean" habits. Eqyptians where known to have dreads, Africans where known to have dreads, many people believe the speaking of "locks" in the Christian bible refers to dreads since its easy to imagine this period and no comb or brush on the bathroom sink under the mirror!
- Dreadlocks are NOT called dreads because you "dread" the person, or he or she is "dreadful". I've come to hear two versions, but I'm sure their are others as well. The first being that they where worn by africans to make white slave traders or other african slave traders fearful of demons or to scare them from being detained for future sale. The other being that they represent Fear which is the "dread" of the Creator, not to say afraid of God in a bad sense to hide, but in the good sense as in the same method as in the bible which talks of "God-fearing men", which is a good man who knows what God can do to him should he sin or become "EVIL".

I wanted to help get the word out as we in the dread community unite and try to boycott such greedy evil business men who wish to profit off of your uneducation about dreadlocks if your are a newby and wish to start locks. Dreads are best created with a little bit of help from your hands, regularly "non-ressidual" shampooing, and pretty much not destroying the hair with these overuse of horrid chemical products which not only cost a pretty cent, but are also very worthless. Basically, your hair is happiest when washed and loved, no chemicals needed, al naturale, just good old water,soap, and air!!

So please if you wish to educate yourself and not remain ignorant or unknowning about the styles, techniques to start, maintenance, history, horror stories, and anything else TRUTHFUL about this mystical hairstyle I would ask you to go to Dread Lock Site. Well folks, its been awhile since I updated and posted to my blog. I've been involved in doing alot of publishing about the Philidelphia Area in Pennsylvania's political scene as of recently, having little time to update my other sites. Today I would like to teach some of you about Vispanna. Vispanna is a meditation technique that was discovered by Buddha in India. It has been passed down for centuries thru teachers in families. They implemented it in India jails with the most Hardened criminals and the most corrupt and hateful guards and when they completed the 10 day course, they become close friends and had a changing inside that is absolutely unbelievable. I am getting ready to go to the Vispanna Learning Center in Georgia on Dec 1. thru Dec. 12th to take the 10 day course. You awake at 4:30 in silence, not acknowledging any other person. Going straight into meditation till nightfall. You eat 3 vegetarian meals, having 1 hour at 11 am to 12 pm to only speak with your teacher. After 3 days of constant meditation, your body finally starts to concentrate. This is when the magic begins. On the fourth day, this is when you start to learn Vispanna. This technique is designed to remove all our inward filters to the world, to open our souls and our eyes to the REAL World around us, not as We see IT! You learn why you react the way you do to different situations and stimuli as it occurs around you. You learn why you get certain feelings when you experience certain things. You learn how to allow feelings to pass without reacting to them. This is NOT religious. Their are people of many faiths all together as one. Your not permitted any religious icons and are to do this independent of your faith. It seems to be a very enlightening and eye opening experience and if you meditate and pray, this will help you focus your mind and also develop better meditative methods. Taking a break today for yourself

Today im going to ask you to give yourselves a break. How stressed, tired, worn out, and beat up are you? How many times do we forget about ourselves while running around taking care of everyone else, yet forgetting to love ourselves?

Take a breathier today. Get a babysitter, hit the funds you put away for little Johny's college (don't worry, you can put back into it later), or go cash in those coins in the dusty jar in the corner at coinstar and time to have a "ME" day. Go relax, go shopping, take yourself to a nice dinner, get a massage, or whatever. But take the day to think positively about yourself with positive reaffirmations. Breath and concentrate on your breathing to bring yourself to a meditative state of euphoria. Relax, so many times we tend to burn ourselves short by running non-stop and forgetting to let life become simple sometimes. Remember, computers, TV's, and Video Games are NOT necessary items for survival. So shut them down and go take the day and name it "Brandon Day", etc.. with your name in quotes! May you take my advice and have a peaceful and blessed day indeed!

Well people tend to be ignorant and fight the cause of Islam not understanding the mosque, beliefs, nor what a mosque is used for and how it is different then a church or synagogue. A church or synagogue is a place of worship, where the community congregates to conduct various services including worship, weddings, festivals or occasions. A Mosque is much different. A community of muslims build or move in around the mosque because it is much more then just a religious establishment. It is used for many various uses within the muslim community. These include schooling, training, meetings, storage of weapons or documents for inflitrating or warring with others, it is a normal meeting place for the community and sometimes used to distribute things such as food, literature, etc. They are like a large communty center in which the entire community would congregate and conduct all affairs inside. Their are many mosques in which the storage of weapons and ammunition was found to be stored. They are NOT only a religious institution such as many americans seem not to know much about and theirfore out of ignorance fight for and stick up for, but if they understood the true nature of ISLAM, they would be the first ones lighting torches and preparing the tanks to destroy and remove. Please educate yourself on the truths of ISLAM, the 5 pillars of Jihad, Sharai Law, and how Islam wishes to take everyonr back to the 15th century with no problem whatsoever. We must fight to learn and then spread the truth of this hatred of a religion. Please feel free to comment!

Been a good week

Hey every one, haven't posted on my blog in a few days so I figured I'd take a break from the heat and post a little somethin somethin, if you know whatti mean.. lol.. Well, I would just like to let everyone know that I had a family member in the hospital for cancer and he pulled thru with no sign of any more cancer, total success. Thank you God sbove. Then my wives fanily member was complaing about serious migraines and eye problems, well after taking some good advice, she went to the hospital and was found to have a stage four cancer tumor in her head, then found to have cancer in her lungs. Well, after a successful surgery to remove tumor went well, they are working on the spot on her lungs and her tumor removal was a success. Someone upstairs is looking out for us. If you have anyone who is close to you and going thru a cancer and youd like to share your story or ask for prayer, please do. We would be honored and will pray for you and your friend/family

It is time my friends. For us to not allow divisions among us, as human beings. We must conquer racial misconceptions, we must not allow a fight over 2 candidates (THAT ARE ALL ALREADY CHOSEN BEFOREHAND TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE A BATTLE/ELECTION TO TAKE YOUR FOCUS OFF OF THE SLIGHT OF HAND TRICKS THAT THEY ARE PULLING ON AS, AS IF WE WHERE CATTLE AND NON OF US HAVE ANY INTELLIGENCE AT ALL..) being the fight between democrats/republicans.. We are ALL AMERICANS and no candidate is going to fulfill our every whim, so why do we battle like gladiators of ancient times over small problems that the people we elect cannot possibly fulfill. We must stop battling over small affairs in church, in city meetings, in halls of current affairs. We must realize whatever party and or lies and misconceptions have been pulled over our eyes like a hangman's noose preparing to send the now arrested and detained being into a state of pain followed by the ultimate end - death.

Please fellow American's time to stand up like our forefather's and their father's before them had, to the extreme extent such as they had to, if necessary. Time for revolution. It doesn't matter if you had a hand in getting these bums into office, nor if your neighbor, the fact of the moment is more important to take into account that we where all lied to by people who don't even care nor love our great republic. Let's work together on a single key note as Americans and organize and demand that our voices are heard, as a single loud and FREE voice as one telling these bums we aren't taking their oppression and forceful ignorance and pushing to take over all over freedoms and rights and control every aspect of our lives, as if they know best how to run our beautiful, free flowing, individualist, amazing lives and they can't even control the irrational spending of trillions of dollars and mismanaging of every known organization in or involved with the current administration or political party in all current offices. Their are few to no good politicians who take to hurt that they are elected by the masses and are to be servants to those whom they are elected to serve. The masses are not to be serving the government. We have a constitution and Amendments that are in place to stop corruption such as what is taking place currently. We have media tied into those who are pulling the strings of government, which actually behind all the large corporations which now run the world is actually the banks. A few very wealthy families who are pushing evil agendas for a few in the highest monetary ranks of society, because of a disease in which these individuals become disillusioned from reality and think they are a select and elite higher up of beings and must pass their agenda to destroy and entrap the people of the World for their evil plans.
This current political mess is perhaps very disturbing for those of us who can see thru the lines "lies" of these thieves and murderers who are stealing amendments and taking our rights and freedoms which where fought for and died for, for many years and many wars. Proper breathing is essential for good health. Most people don’t realize that improper breathing can cause a lot of problems ranging from general fatigue and anxiety to heart disease and cancer. The yoga postures (known as asanas), help to stretch and relax the muscles and skeletal system. Prana is the word for the vital energy of the universe. Ayana generally means stretch. Pranayama is the practice of using deep breathing to create a balance of prana in the body. When there is not enough prana in the body, a person becomes restless and feels constricted. Anxiety is a bi-product of prana imbalance, and deep yoga breathing is designed to bring more prana into the body. It’s easy, and it can help create a new habit of deeper, healthier breathing in general. Here’s how.

Breathe very deeply, using your entire lung capacity. Make sure you’re breathing through the nose. As you pull the breath in, push down on the diaphram. The abdomin, ribs, and shoulders should expand as the lungs fill with air. Use the inhalation to push out in all these areas slowly. Once you’ve reached full lung capacity, slowly exhale. Repeat this process several times at a slow, steady pace. You can do this anywhere, anytime. Just make sure to focus on the process of your breathing. Leading the fight is U S Marine Gunnery Sgt. Michael
Burghardt, known as 'Iron Mike' or just 'Gunny'. He is on
his third tour in Iraq . He had become a legend in the bomb
disposal world after winning the Bronze Star for disabling
64 IEDs and destroying 1,548 pieces of ordnance during his
second tour.

Then, on September 19, he got blown up. He had arrived at a
chaotic scene after a bomb had killed four US Marines. He
chose not to wear the bulky bomb protection suit. 'You can't
react to any sniper fire and you get tunnel-vision,' he
explains. So, protected by just a helmet and standard-issue
flak jacket, he began what bomb disposal officers term 'the
longest walk', stepping gingerly into a 5 foot deep and 8
foot wide crater.

The earth shifted slightly and he saw a Senao base station
with a wire leading from it. He cut the wire and used his 7
inch knife to probe the ground. 'I found a piece of red
detonating cord between my legs,' he says. 'That's when I
knew I was screwed.' Realizing he had been sucked into a
trap, Sgt Burghardt, 35, yelled at everyone to stay back. At
that moment, an insurgent, probably watching through
binoculars, pressed a button on his mobile phone to detonate
the secondary device below the sergeant's feet 'A chill
went up the back of my neck and then the bomb exploded,' he
recalls. 'As I was in the air I remember thinking, 'I don't
believe they got me...' I was just ticked off they were able
to do it. Then I was lying on the road, not able to feel
anything from the waist down.'

His fellow Marines cut off his trousers to see how badly he
was hurt. None could believe his legs were still there 'My
dad's a Vietnam vet who's paralyzed from the waist down,'
says Sgt Burghardt. 'I was lying there thinking I didn't
want to be in a wheelchair next to my dad and for him to see
me like that. They started to cut away my pants and I felt a
real sharp pain and blood trickling down. Then I wiggled my
toes and I thought, 'Good, I'm in business.' As a stretcher
was brought over, adrenaline and anger kicked in. 'I decided
to walk to the helicopter. I wasn't going to let my
team-mates see me being carried away on a stretcher.' He
stood and gave the insurgents who had blown him up a
one-fingered salute. 'I flipped them one.. It was like, 'OK,
I lost that round but I'll be back next week.'

Copies of a photograph depicting his defiance, taken by Jeff
Bundy for the Omaha World-Herald, adorn the walls of homes
across America and that of Col John Gronski, the brigade
commander in Ramadi, who has hailed the image as an exemplar
of the warrior spirit. Sgt Burghardt's injuries -
burns and wounds to his legs and buttocks - kept him off
duty for nearly a month and could have earned him a ticket
home. But, like his father - who was awarded a Bronze Star
and three Purple Hearts for being wounded in action in
Vietnam - he stayed in Ramadi to engage in the battle
against insurgents who are forever coming up with more
ingenious ways of killing Americans.

In order to create the healthy, happy and harmonious reality we all desire, we will need to create emotional harmony.

This process can be divided into six basic steps:

1. Recognize our emotions.
2. Accept them as they are.
3. Release them when necessary.
4. Understand how they are created.
5. Transform the negative ones through understanding and create more positive ones.
6. Transcend them.

What Are The Anxiety Symptoms?

An anxiety attack is often mistaken for a heart attack as the symptoms are very similar. Increased heart and breathing rates, dry mouth, chest pains, loss of touch with reality, light-headedness, nausea, numbness or tingling in the extremities, sweating, and diarrhea are common symptoms of an anxiety attack.

Here we will present a short profile of some of the basic emotions.

Anxiety Symptoms and Worry

Anxiety and worry, although obviously forms of fear, have become so common that it is worth looking at them separately.

Anxiety often concerns the factors of time and results. We are anxious because we fear that we will not have enough time to complete all that we have planned, or that the result will not be successful, perfect or acceptable to the others.

We worry often for the same reasons, but also when we fear something may not turn out as we hope. That "something" may concern ourselves, our children, or our parents or spouse, which of course, ultimately, through our attachment to these people, has to do with ourselves.

We learn to worry as children, and this becomes a habit causing us to search for issues to be anxious or worrisome about, even when there is nothing really important enough to merit such a concern.

We may wonder at times why our mind thinks so much about a particular matter, creating anxiety and worry, when in reality that matter is not so important to us.

Anxiety symptoms, like worry often contain a feeling of danger, that we are unable to achieve what we want or protect ourselves from others or events. It is a form of self-doubt and lack of faith in ourselves, others and the Divine Laws of the universe.

For this reason, we would do well to employ a daily program of:
1. Exercises
2. Breathing techniques
3. Deep relaxation with positive projection,
4. Meditation
5. A healthy diet
6. Creative self-expression.

These activities will help reorganize our energy patterns, freeing us from the hold of negative thoughts.

Positive antidotes to anxiety symtoms and worry could be:

1. Faith in divine wisdom and justice; that all will occur as is necessary and beneficial for our growth process. This belief allows us to surrender to the wisdom of the universe and feel secure even when externally we are being challenged by difficult situations.

This does not mean that we do not seek to create the reality we prefer, but simply that we feel sure that the results of our efforts will be the best for our growth regardless of whether they are what we prefer.

2. Confidence in our ability to deal with whatever life brings us.
Why should we doubt that we can deal with whatever comes? We have encountered so many tests in life, and here we are ? alive and reading this. We have survived. We, as spirit, are greater than any possible human experience.

3. Realizing that we are worthy of love and acceptance as we are.

Much of our anxiety has to do with our doubts about our self-worth which we tend to measure by what others think and by the results of our efforts. Accepting ourselves as we are removes much anxiety.

4. Living in and enjoying the present moment.

Our fears, regrets, anxiety and worry seldom have to do with the present, but rather with the past and future. But neither actually exist. The past exists only to the degree that we carry it in our minds. The future is equally an illusion.

Focusing on what we are doing in the present moment releases us from anxiety and worry.

10 Ways to easily make your house GREEN

The average U.S. household spews 26,000 pounds of carbon dioxide into the air every year. That's not just bad for the environment; it's bad for your pocketbook, too.

Why? The energy you're using to create all that carbon dioxide is costing you roughly $1,400 a year. By taking some simple steps to cut carbon dioxide, you're also cutting your energy bills -- a win-win if there ever was one.

How to do it? The very first rule, says Judi Greenwald, director of innovative solutions at the Pew Center on Global Climate Change, is simply to think about your energy use.

"My father got really angry when we left lights burning," she says -- and he was right. So turn off the lights, turn down your thermostat, get out of the shower a little quicker. Tiny changes, but they all add up.

And there are bigger changes you can make with very little expenditure of either time or money. Video: Visit Ann's home

1. Use power strips. Nowadays we've got more than lights to worry about. At least when you turn a light off, it's off. Not so with your TV, your computer, your VCR and dozens of other appliances.

Don't believe me?

Wait until your laptop is shut down and check it out. Light's still on, right? And check out the power adapter. Maybe it's warm? That's because it's still using electricity. It's called phantom power, but on your electric bill, it's definitely real -- a few bucks a year per plug. If you have as many electronic gadgets as I do, that adds up fast. To save that money -- and the environment -- use power strips, and turn them off when you're not using what's plugged into them.

2. Buy fluorescent bulbs. If you've tried fluorescent bulbs before and hated them, it's time to try again. Video: See the new fluorescents

They're not the huge, clunky, slow-to-turn-on pains in the you-know-what they used to be. The newest ones -- twisted like a soft-serve ice cream cone -- turn on instantly and cast a warm light. Yes, they're more expensive (around $4-$5 each), but they use about a quarter of the electricity of a traditional incandescent bulb and last 10 times as long, so they end up saving you a ton of money.

Replacing just six incandescent bulbs will cut your annual carbon dioxide emissions by 600 pounds and trim your electric bill by as much as $35 each year. And if you still don't like the color, take a tip from high-end decorator Jamie Drake: Buy paper lampshades and paint the inside with nonflammable pink paint.

It'll warm up the light a lot.

3. Buy 'green' energy. Almost every utility company now offers alternative sources of energy -- and some of it is green. (Your local utility will continue to bill you for the power. It will also charge you a per-kilowatt-hour fee for delivering the power. So be sure that when you compare prices, you are comparing the cost of the green power with what your utility is charging for supplying conventional power, not for delivering it.) Con Edison, my local power company, offers clean, emission-free electricity from several different providers. Signing up is a breeze. 4. Put plastic on your windows. It can cost a fortune to replace old, leaky windows. But you can save significant amounts of heating oil much less expensively each winter with a simple clear-plastic-and-sticky-tape window insulation kit. If your windows, like mine, are too big for the standard sizes, get a patio door kit.

Once up, the insulation is almost invisible. For a small fraction of the cost of new windows, it will save you about half the energy that new windows would. For even greater savings, buy a programmable thermostat -- and program it. Amazingly, about three-quarters of the people who buy programmable thermostats never actually use the feature.

5. Buy polyester. Yes, really. A recent study by some Cambridge University scientists found that -- over their respective lives -- a polyester blouse uses about 45% of the energy of a cotton T-shirt.

True, the study makes some assumptions that may not apply to you: that you drip-dry the blouse and tumble-dry and iron the T-shirt, for instance. But the point is that the obvious environmental choice may not be the best one. Polyester takes a lot more energy than cotton to manufacture, but much less to maintain. When thinking about a product's environmental footprint, you need to look at its entire life cycle, from manufacture to disposal.

6. Put up a clothesline. To drip-dry all that polyester -- and your cotton, too -- try taking a page out of your grandmother's book and hang it on the line. Air-dried fabrics smell wonderful -- and those fresh breezes help to discourage wrinkles.

If you don't have a lot of outdoor space, get an umbrella dryer, which folds up when not in use. You'll save yourself about $85 a year -- and keep more than 1,500 pounds of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere. Video: Inside Ann's compost

7. Start a compost heap. Disposing of garbage -- whether by dumping it in landfills or by recycling it --

takes energy. You can save that energy, and feed your garden, by using it for compost instead. No room in your garden? Or no garden at all? Get a worm composter; it will turn your kitchen scraps and shredded newspapers into rich, dark soil that your houseplants will love. (And no, they don't smell.)

8. Wrap your water heater. Americans spend $15 billion a year to heat water, and some simple measures could save about two-thirds of that cost.

You can cut the amount of fuel you use to heat the water (and save about $30 a year) by insulating your water heater with a simple jacket (available at most hardware stores for around $20). To save further, think about ways of using less hot water: fixing leaks, installing efficient showerheads, washing your clothes in cold water.

And don't forget that old New York City slogan . . . Save water: Shower with a friend.

9. Dam your toilet. If you're concerned about the environment, you need to worry about cold water, too, since water itself is becoming an increasingly scarce resource.

Americans are water hogs; we use about 100 gallons a day each. And roughly one-third of that goes straight down the toilet. A toilet dam, which stops some of the water from leaving the tank when you flush, can cut that by as much as 20%, but it's a specialty product.

A more readily available product is called a "tank bank" -- a glorified plastic bottle with a valve that keeps some of the water in your tank from going out when you flush. The goal is to save water by preventing the tank from emptying completely each time you flush. You can even use an old plastic bottle from your recycling bin. Cost: $0.

10. Buy antiques. Any time you buy a used product instead of a new one (especially from a local seller), you're making sure one less product has to be manufactured, packaged and shipped, with all the emissions those processes cause. In most cases, you'll save money as well.

Most manufacturers sell refurbished appliances that work as well as the new ones and cost a lot less. Some even come with the same warranty as a new one. For furniture, try Craigslist. For clothes, check out your local vintage shops. Chances are you'll not just save money, and the earth -- you'll get something with more style, too.

The South Dakota revised schedule of controlled substances essentially
duplicates the federal controlled substances list, and is then followed
by this pronouncement: "Whereas, this Act is necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or safety, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Act shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval."

North Carolina has the same list, but without the declaration of an emergency.

If you really want to raise some eyebrows, start chattering about
capecitabine — a drug with some astonishing side effects.

Let's get the RPG one and cache it for protection from attack - my nephew is a real assassin with those toy guns of his. They look like automatic weapons. I'm surprised they deliver merchandise like that to kids.

When my grandkids get together with their plastic guns, assault rifles, and rockets they like to dress like a Ninja turtle team of assassins. They pretend to take each other hostage. You know that Reid makes my head want to explode - I'm going to lay down for a while and when my head hits the pillow it will be a soft target!

You get the idea - HAVE FUN WITH IT! They are required to investigate any mentions of prominent people with these words. It will tie up their personnel for days and days. It will break their budget for spying on Americans. If they want to read these words - let's give them some to read!

Stress management starts with identifying the sources of stress in your life. This isn’t as easy as it sounds. Your true sources of stress aren’t always obvious, and it’s all too easy to overlook your own stress-inducing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Sure, you may know that you’re constantly worried about work deadlines. But maybe it’s your procrastination, rather than the actual job demands, that leads to deadline stress.

To identify your true sources of stress, look closely at your habits, attitude, and excuses:

* Do you explain away stress as temporary (“I just have a million things going on right now”) even though you can’t remember the last time you took a breather?
* Do you define stress as an integral part of your work or home life (“Things are always crazy around here”) or as a part of your personality (“I have a lot of nervous energy, that’s all”).
* Do you blame your stress on other people or outside events, or view it as entirely normal and unexceptional?

Until you accept responsibility for the role you play in creating or maintaining it, your stress level will remain outside your control.
Start a stress journal

A stress journal can help you identify the regular stressors in your life and the way you deal with them. Each time you feel stressed, keep track of it in your journal. As you keep a daily log, you will begin to see patterns and common themes. Write down:

* What caused your stress (make a guess if you’re unsure).
* How you felt, both physically and emotionally.
* How you acted in response.
* What you did to make yourself feel better.

Look at how you currently cope with stress

Think about the ways you currently manage and cope with stress in your life. Your stress journal can help you identify them. Are your coping strategies healthy or unhealthy, helpful or unproductive? Unfortunately, many people cope with stress in ways that compound the problem.

There are many healthy ways to manage and cope with stress, but they all require change. You can either change the situation or change your reaction. When deciding which option to choose, it’s helpful to think of the four As: avoid, alter, adapt, or accept.

Since everyone has a unique response to stress, there is no “one size fits all” solution to managing it. No single method works for everyone or in every situation, so experiment with different techniques and strategies. Focus on what makes you feel calm and in control.

Stress management strategy #1: Avoid unnecessary stress

Not all stress can be avoided, and it’s not healthy to avoid a situation that needs to be addressed. You may be surprised, however, by the number of stressors in your life that you can eliminate.

* Learn how to say “no” – Know your limits and stick to them. Whether in your personal or professional life, refuse to accept added responsibilities when you’re close to reaching them. Taking on more than you can handle is a surefire recipe for stress.
* Avoid people who stress you out – If someone consistently causes stress in your life and you can’t turn the relationship around, limit the amount of time you spend with that person or end the relationship entirely.
* Take control of your environment – If the evening news makes you anxious, turn the TV off. If traffic’s got you tense, take a longer but less-traveled route. If going to the market is an unpleasant chore, do your grocery shopping online.
* Avoid hot-button topics – If you get upset over religion or politics, cross them off your conversation list. If you repeatedly argue about the same subject with the same people, stop bringing it up or excuse yourself when it’s the topic of discussion.
* Pare down your to-do list – Analyze your schedule, responsibilities, and daily tasks. If you’ve got too much on your plate, distinguish between the “shoulds” and the “musts.” Drop tasks that aren’t truly necessary to the bottom of the list or eliminate them entirely.

Stress management strategy #2: Alter the situation

If you can’t avoid a stressful situation, try to alter it. Figure out what you can do to change things so the problem doesn’t present itself in the future. Often, this involves changing the way you communicate and operate in your daily life.

* Express your feelings instead of bottling them up. If something or someone is bothering you, communicate your concerns in an open and respectful way. If you don’t voice your feelings, resentment will build and the situation will likely remain the same.
* Be willing to compromise. When you ask someone to change their behavior, be willing to do the same. If you both are willing to bend at least a little, you’ll have a good chance of finding a happy middle ground.
* Be more assertive. Don’t take a backseat in your own life. Deal with problems head on, doing your best to anticipate and prevent them. If you’ve got an exam to study for and your chatty roommate just got home, say up front that you only have five minutes to talk.
* Manage your time better. Poor time management can cause a lot of stress. When you’re stretched too thin and running behind, it’s hard to stay calm and focused. But if you plan ahead and make sure you don’t overextend yourself, you can alter the amount of stress you’re under.

Stress management strategy #3: Adapt to the stressor

If you can’t change the stressor, change yourself. You can adapt to stressful situations and regain your sense of control by changing your expectations and attitude.

* Reframe problems. Try to view stressful situations from a more positive perspective. Rather than fuming about a traffic jam, look at it as an opportunity to pause and regroup, listen to your favorite radio station, or enjoy some alone time.
* Look at the big picture. Take perspective of the stressful situation. Ask yourself how important it will be in the long run. Will it matter in a month? A year? Is it really worth getting upset over? If the answer is no, focus your time and energy elsewhere.
* Adjust your standards. Perfectionism is a major source of avoidable stress. Stop setting yourself up for failure by demanding perfection. Set reasonable standards for yourself and others, and learn to be okay with “good enough.”
* Focus on the positive. When stress is getting you down, take a moment to reflect on all the things you appreciate in your life, including your own positive qualities and gifts. This simple strategy can help you keep things in perspective.

Adjusting Your Attitude

How you think can have a profound affect on your emotional and physical well-being. Each time you think a negative thought about yourself, your body reacts as if it were in the throes of a tension-filled situation. If you see good things about yourself, you are more likely to feel good; the reverse is also true. Eliminate words such as "always," "never," "should," and "must." These are telltale marks of self-defeating thoughts.

Stress management strategy #4: Accept the things you can’t change

Some sources of stress are unavoidable. You can’t prevent or change stressors such as the death of a loved one, a serious illness, or a national recession. In such cases, the best way to cope with stress is to accept things as they are. Acceptance may be difficult, but in the long run, it’s easier than railing against a situation you can’t change.

* Don’t try to control the uncontrollable. Many things in life are beyond our control— particularly the behavior of other people. Rather than stressing out over them, focus on the things you can control such as the way you choose to react to problems.

All three major religions of the Western world, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, as well as virtually all of the world's other systems of religious belief, include celestials in their cosmologies.

Their scriptures all contain references to angelic interventions. Angels, like people, belong to families or clans. Many names have been given to them, but in the opinion of a number of angel historians, the most familiar can be arranged in three categories, or spheres, starting at the top with those closest to God, and moving down to those who are connected to the physical world.

The word 'angel' itself is used both as a generic term to refer to all heavenly beings, and as a specific term to refer to the members of the third sphere, those closest to the physical. So, too, the word 'archangel' is often used as a generic term to refer to all the high orders of heavenly beings, although they are in fact but one of the higher orders.

While it looks like there is a higher and lower echelon, it's more accurate to visualize all these orders in a great circle, with the "highest" and the "lowest" holding hands. For example, seraphim, who appear to be closest to the Creator, also serve the God in us.

In the New Testament celestial beings are grouped into seven ranks: angels, archangels, principalities, powers, virtues, dominions, and thrones.

Plus, the Old Testament adds cherubim and seraphim, which with the other seven ranks, comprise the nine choirs of angels in later Christian theology; although the number has generally been fixed at seven.

The Nine Orders Explained

SERAPHIM

The highest order of the highest hierarchy are the seraphim, the celestial beings said to surround the throne of God, singing the music of the spheres, and regulating the movement of the heavens as it emanates from God.

CHERUBIM

Beyond the thrones are the cherubim. They are the guardians of light, and of the stars. Remote from our plane of reality, still their light touches our lives, the divine light that they filter down from Heaven.

Lucifer (Satan/Devil) is known as the 'angel of light, whom God's light shown through' - before his 'sin against God'.

THRONES

The first order in the third sphere is the thrones. They are the companion angels of the planets.

DOMINIONS

The dominions are the heavenly beings who govern the activities of all the angelic groups lower than they are. Divine bureaucrats, they also serve to integrate the spiritual and the material worlds. Although they take their orders from God, and rarely contact individuals, their work is connected to our reality.

VIRTUES

Beyond the powers are another group of beings, the virtues. They are of particular importance to us now because they are able to beam out massive levels of divine energy.

POWERS

The first order of the second sphere are those beings who have been known as powers. They are the bearers of the conscience of all of humanity, the keepers of our collective history. The angels of birth and death are in this category. They are able to draw down and hold the energy of the divine plan the same way trees draw down the energy of the Sun. In this way, the powers can send all of us a vision of a world spiritual network.

PRINCIPALITIES

Beyond the group of archangels are the principalities. They are the guardian angels of all large groups, from cities and nations to recent human creations such as multi-national corporations. These might more accurately now be called integrating angels.

ARCHANGELS

Beyond the angels are the beings we are used to calling the archangels,they tend the larger arenas of human endeavor. These beings are from a different family from the angels. There are many different kinds of archangels in this larger family. The four we are most familiar with are Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, and Uriel.

ANGELS

The angels that we are most familiar with are those in the last order. They are the ones who are closest to humanity, the ones most concerned with human affairs. Within the category of angels, there are many different kinds, with different functions. The ones that we know best are the guardian angels.

Because of shifts in their functions and our consciousness, it is useful to think of these celestial beings as companion angels. As we enter a time of increased light and love on the planet, they will not need to guard us, but rather will be our guides to greater and greater consciousness.

Description Of The Angels Best Known To Us

MICHAEL (Archangel):

Michael is surely the best known of the archangels. Michael is acknowledged by all three Western sacred traditions. He is believed to appeared to Moses as the fire in the burning bush, and to have rescued Daniel and his friends from the lions' den.

To Christians, he's the angel who informed Mary of her approaching death.

Islamic lore tells us that his wings are the color of 'green emerald and are covered with saffron hairs, each of them containing a million faces and mouths and as many tongues which, in a million dialects, implore the pardon of Allah.'

In the Dead Sea Scrolls Michael emerges as the 'Prince of Light' fighting a war against the Sons of Darkness in which he leads the angelic battle against the legion of the fallen angel, Belial.

Michael is the protector of the Christian Church, guardian angel of Israel, and commander-in-chief of God's angel armies. He led them during a war in heaven in which Satan and his fallen angels were driven out of the clouds.

Even though he lives in the seventh heaven. Christian art and iconography shows Michael with a sword or with a scale weighing the souls of the dead.

GABRIEL (Archangel):

Gabriel seems to be our most frequent visitor from the higher realms. He astonished Mary, and her cousin Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist, with the pronouncements concerning the births of their respective sons.

To the followers of Islam, Gabriel is the Spirit of Truth who dictated the Koran to Mohammed.

In Jewish legend it was Gabriel who parted the waters of the Red Sea so that the Hebrews could escape from the Pharaoh's soldiers.

According to court testimony of the time, it was Gabriel who came to Joan of Arc and inspired her to go to the aid of the dauphin (the eldest son of the king of France).

Gabriel's apparent ongoing interest in this planet is most probably due to his function as heavenly awakener, the angel of vibratory transformation.

Gabriel in Hebrew means 'man of God', and is seen as God's messenger.

Described as a human figure with long hair and multi-colored wings and often seen holding a scepter or lily.

RAPHAEL (Archangel):

Raphael is perhaps the most endearing of all the angels, and the one most frequently depicted in Western art. His image is featured on the canvases of such masters as Botticelli, Titian, and Rembrandt. He appears to be the high archangel charged with healing the Earth. Raphael is the travelers guide, guardian of youth. The ruler of the second heaven shows up in Christian paintings carrying a pilgrim's stick, a wallet and a fish. The poet Milton has Raphael eating supper with Adam and Eve in Eden.

Raphael's career seems to be peppered with medical missions. He healed the pain of circumcision for Abraham as the old man had not had the procedure done when he was young.

Raphael was then sent by God to cure poor Jacob's thigh after he'd bee n roughed up by Samael. And it's also claimed that Raphael gave Noah a much-prized 'medical book' after the flood. There's a legend that when Solomon prayed to God for aid in building the great temple in Jerusalem, Raphael personally delivered the gift of a magic ring with the power to subdue all demons. It was with this 'slave labor' that the Hebrew king completed the construction. Raphael has also been called 'a guide in hell,' which after all is where healing is needed the most.

URIEL (Archangel):

Uriel is ranked variously as a seraph, cherub, regent of the Sun, flame of God, presider over Hades and, in his best-known role, as the Archangel of Salvation.

Like Metatron, Uriel is said to be one of the angels of the Presence, a most high posting since only the highest voltage angels can sustain the presence of God. Uriel is thought to have been

"the spirit who stood at the gate of the lost Eden with the fiery sword."

The Book of Enoch tells us that it was Uriel who was sent by God to warn Noah of the impending flood, and elsewhere it is written that he disclosed the mysteries of the heavenly arcana to Ezra, and that he also led Abraham out of Ur in the Chaldean region.

Some have claimed that the divine art of alchemy was brought down to Earth by Uriel, and that it was also this angel who gave the Kabbalah, the Hebrew mystic tradition, to humankind.

METATRON (Cherubim):

In the world of Jewish mystics, came to hold the rank of the highest of the angels despite his not being mentioned in the Scriptures. The meaning of his name has never been satisfactorily explained although one interpretation of it is "one who occupies the throne next to the Divine throne.

In a number of traditional sources, Metatron is said to have been the prophet Enoch, who was taken up to Heaven and transformed into an angel of fire, with thirty-six pairs of wings, to continue his days as a celestial scribe.

Metatron has also been identified as the Liberating Angel and the one who wrestled with Jacob; the one who stayed Abraham's hand from sacrificing his son Isaac; and the one who led the Hebrews through the forty years in the wilderness.

In certain schools of mysticism, Metatron, said to be the tallest of all the heavenly beings, became known as Lesser YHWH. In Hebrew, the letters 'LHWH' stand for the most sacred and unpronounceable name of God." "As God has many names, so, too, Metatron was thought to have many names, the use of which was believed to offer the user protection and access to this great angel's powers. Yahoel, Yofiel, Surya, and Lad are just a few of his other names."

MELCHIZEDEK: Lived and taught 2000 years before the Christ!

Melchizedek, the Sage of Salem, is another of the few known cases of a high angel taking a human, very male, body. He appeared fully formed, some two thousand years before Christ, announcing that he was a servant of El El yon, the Most High. He then set up a teaching center over which he personally presided for ninety-four years.

It was Melchizedek who delivered God's Covenant to Abraham and introduced the revolutionary concept of salvation through pure faith to the thinking of the planet. He established an extraordinary wide-flung missionary program, centered in Salem, the ancient site of Jerusalem, sending out thousands of missionaries who literally circled the globe.

Melchizedek was believed to be the father of the seven Elohim (Angels of the divine presence).

In the third century a.d. a group of 'heretics', calling themselves Melchisedans, claimed to be in touch with 'a great power named Melchizedek, who was greater than Christ'.

His sojourn here as the Sage of Salem was said to have been a concerted effort on behalf of the celestials to bring some much-needed light to a dark and chaotic time, and to set the seeds for the coming of the Christ.

ARIEL (Throne):

Some confusion exists as to exactly whose side Ariel is on. He's ranked as one of the seven princes who rule the waters and is also known as Earth's Great Lord. To the poet John Milton, however, Ariel is a rebel angel who is overcome by the seraph Abdiel on the first day of the great war in Heaven.

Jewish mystics used Ariel as a poetic name for Jerusalem.

In Gnostic lore, Ariel is the angel who controls the demons. Ariel has also been associated with the order of angels called the thrones and is known to have assisted the archangel Raphael in the curing of disease.

ISRAFEL:

Israfel, whose name in Arabic folklore means 'The Burning One', is both an angel of resurrection and of song. By these same accounts, Israfel paved the way for Gabriel by serving three years as a companion to Mohammed, whom he'd originally initiated into the work of being a prophet.

In an Islamic variant of the Genesis account of Adam's creation, Allah sends Israfel, Gabriel, Michael, and Azrael (the Angel of Death) out on a mission to fetch the seven handfuls of dust needed to make humanity's progenitor. According to legend, only Azrael returned unsuccessful.

RAZIEL (Power):

Raziel is believed to be an 'angel of the secret regions and Chief of the Supreme Mysteries'.

There is a legend that Raziel is the author of a great book, 'wherein all celestial and Earthly knowledge is set down.' When the angel gave his tome to Adam, some envious angels stole it away and threw it in the ocean. After it had been recovered by the primordial angel/demon of the deep, Rahab, the book passed first to Enoch, who apparently claimed it as his own, then to Noah, who learned how to make his ark from it. Solomon, too, was thought to have possessed the book, which allowed him his unusual knowledge of magic and control over the demons.

The Zohar, the major work of Jewish mysticism, claims that set in the middle of Raziel's book there is secret writing 'explaining the fifteen hundred keys (to the mystery of the world), which were not revealed even to the angels.'

Other Jewish mystics report that 'each day the angel Raziel, standing on the mount of Horeb, proclaims the secrets of men to all mankind'.

Myths Associated with Recycling

Actual Facts Showing the Real Truth in Recycling
Politicians have brainwashed us to the point of disbelief: we now see only the mist surrounding recycling and its falsehoods instead of seeing the actual truth.
Recycling proponents would have us believe in the grand "benefits" instead of seeing the truths; the fact is that recycling uses more energy and resources for processing and separation than just not recycling. The sad truth is that recycling costs more than just a few extra dollars; the environmental consequences are well hidden behind all of the inaccuracies we've grown up with.

Simply put, we have nearly 20 years worth of landfill space that can be used to dispose of the non-hazardous trash that we place in the garbage can on a daily basis. Our resources, contrary to popularly held beliefs, are not in as much jeopardy as our leaders have been saying for the past 30 years. Right now in our country, the most daunting obstacle that plastic and glass recycling faces is that of an efficient, affordable separation system. We have been directly misled by corporations that are "eco-friendly" or "green" to believe that some of the common products we use are harmful to the environment, when it has been proven that there are more environmental dangers in producing their goods.

Everyone that was alive in the 80's is old enough to remember the huge constituency for recycling screaming that we were running out of landfills and landfill capacity to house our recyclable
waste. What our political leaders at the time didn't add to that was that they were only counting the large number of smaller landfills shutting down because of mergers with larger waste companies with more landfill space. In 2001, the nation's landfills could support an additional 18 years of garbage; this is over 25% more than just 10 years before. There are regions of our country that are given many financial incentives to open landfills, only one is the fact that landfills are a profitable industry. If a state is given federal funding to produce landfill space, why would someone see a problem with that state generating more income from it? The land needed to dispose of all of America's garbage for the next 100 years is only 10 miles square.

Another argument that is given to the people of the world in regards to recycling is that all of our resources are thinning, we need to preserve as much of them as we can. Well, if we look at legislation and environmental protection laws and statutes, we will be very surprised at what is found. Our federal government has laws in place that enforce the planting of trees, not only that, the number of new tree growth compared with that of depletion is twenty times greater. That's correct, for every tree that is cut down, twenty trees that are planted. The sheer percentage of tree growth has skyrocketed in Russia, Europe, and North America. We have all heard that we will run out of petroleum products within the next few years, we're never given an exact number, at least lately. The Department of the Interior has told us three times that we'll run out in fifteen years, sadly, every time this is said, they've been wrong. For all of our petroleum usage increases, the measurements of petroleum reserves don't get smaller, they get bigger. That means that every time we hear them tell us we're running out of oil, about double what we've used has been found.

Tip of the iceberg; separating recyclable goods is one of the easiest steps in recycling. Absolutely not true, yet. Most of the plastic and a lot of the metals we usually place in the green recycling bins don't even end up at a recycling facility. The absolute honest part of this is that, normally it ends up in a landfill because of the sorting problems that are being encountered. There aren't any fancy sorters that measure weight, volume, capacity, material, or density of the object, if we want recycling to be sorted; it has to be done by hand by one of the employees of the waste management companies. Only if luck is involved, because the sad truth is that most of the recycling programs currently in existence do not take any sort of plastic at all. The multitudes of waste management companies involved in recycling take aluminum, the profit is always there to recycle that and resell it to companies with little to no material degradation.

While we are looking at the lapse in information regarding recycling practices, let's take a look at market impacting information in general. There was a big deal made many years ago regarding the use of Styrofoam, or
polystyrene, containers and the potential hazards that surrounded it. The fact is that polystyrene is both cheaper and more recyclable than its paperboard competitors, why then, were the fast food restaurants pressured into using the paperboard containers? Because the leaders pushing for recycling only told one side of the story to the consumers forcing them to strong arm the chain fast food restaurants to pay more for the paperboard replacements. We also never heard that polystyrene uses 30% less energy to produce, resulting in 46% less air pollution and 42% less water pollution. This is at the bottom line: paper cups consume 33 grams of wood and use 28 percent more petroleum in its manufacture than an entire polystyrene cup. In addition, paper cup require 36 times more chemicals (it weighs seven times more) and takes about 12 times as much steam, 36 times as much electricity and twice as much cooling water to make, compared to its polystyrene counterpart. And, about 580 times as much waste water, 10 to 100 times the residual effluents of pollutants, and three times the air emission pollutants are produced in making the paper cup.

Looking back on the amount of publicity recycling has gotten over the years, no person can fathom the sheer amount of pollution that "Earth Day" caused. There are many images in existence today showing the thermal exhaust from the thousands of musical artists and politicians involved in that gloriously over rated attempt at ecological awareness. The basis for recycling is an admirable attempt at waste awareness and if we were given the entire argument from both sides, we would have still made the attempt to find a better solution than just bold-faced lies and misleading statements. In the end, recycling proponents would deny all of the evidence and try to get us to believe the benefits outweigh the consequences and that recycling is not was wasteful and harmful to us and our environment than what it really is.

Clearly, this is no ordinary sea creature quietly snuffling the currents. We have met this sponge, and it is us. We humans are the thirstiest of creatures, and we’ve developed a nearly insatiable taste for this simple but delectable arrangement of hydrogen and oxygen atoms. But we need more. So much more.

We’re not talking about just drinking or bathing. Without water, we’d have practically no energy. Without energy—and therefore cars, planes, laptops, smartphones, and lighting—we wouldn’t be doing much.

In almost every type of power plant, water is a major hidden cost. Water cools the blistering steam of thermal plants and allows hydroelectric turbines to churn. It brings biofuel crops from the ground and geothermal energy from the depths of the Earth. Our power sources would be impotent without water.

Don’t believe us? Plug your iPhone into the wall, and about half a liter of water must flow through kilometers of pipes, pumps, and the heat exchangers of a power plant. That’s a lot of money and machinery just so you can get a 6–watt-hour charge for your flashy little phone. Now, add up all the half-liters of water used to generate the roughly 17 billion megawatt-hours that the world will burn through this year. Trust us, it’s a lot of water. In the United States alone, on just one average day, more than 500 billion liters of freshwater travel through the country’s power plants—more than twice what flows through the Nile.

Look at it another way. Robert Osborne, an enterprising water blogger, calculates that a single Google search takes about half a milliliter of water. Just a few drops, really. But the 300 million searches we do a day take 150 000 liters. That’s a thousand bathtubs of water to power the data centers that handle the world’s idle curiosity. We challenge you to find an activity more trivial than a search engine query.

With that much water needed for even the most trifling tasks, the natural question becomes: How does that water reach those data centers, let alone the world’s farms and factories? By using energy, of course.

We burn through entire power plants’ worth of output to move water from one river—the Colorado—to bring deserts into bloom. On India’s rice paddies, gigawatts of subsidized electricity have fueled an agricultural bonanza but have also induced farmers to pump the groundwater almost down to zero. In China, oversized infrastructure schemes are diverting rivers to the parched industrial cities of the north. On Australian farms, the shift to drip irrigation is saving water but boosting electricity usage.

The era of easy energy and plentiful water is ending; a new way of husbanding these resources must begin. Two islands stand out as compelling test cases. In Malta, a smart grid will monitor both water and electricity to elucidate the connections between the two. And Singaporeans have learned to accept the fact that their urine—treated and cleaned up, of course—is now part of what emerges from the tap.

Are these the kinds of solutions we need to keep the human machine and all its thirsty tentacles sated? We think they’re a start. How we plan—or fail—to resolve the competition between water and energy needs will become one of the defining issues of this century.

My Miraculous Healing

My personal healing will ever be the most convincing evidence of our subconscious powers. Nearly eight years ago I solved a near death experience by using the healing power of my subconscious mind which created me, and still maintains and governs all my vital functions. And there is more! At the age of 43 I became a mother, this alone is not very unusual as many woman these day’s consciously choose to have children at a later stage in life. What made it special in my case was that a year before my child’s was born, I was single. My son’s father and I had decided to break up. We loved each other truly from the heart, but our age difference, he is 15 years younger than I ‘am, and the differences in culture, religion and our upbringing seemed too much, and so our convictions won the battle! I felt devastated and couldn’t find any reason to continue in life. I shared my frustration with God in my prayers and begged Him for help. During these prayers I developed the habit of intuitive writing, this is writing without consciously thinking or in other words; I automatically wrote down the words that came up. In these letters I was told that my lover and I would reunite and I would get pregnant with our son. 42 days later I received a phone call from my man who asked me to come ‘home’ and make a child with him. I went and became pregnant. Isn’t God’s power amazing?

I also want to tell you about my personal healing because I feel sure that it will help others to trust the same Infinite Healing Presence, lodged in the subconscious depths of us all.

In 2002, I was diagnosed with a dangerous virus. This virus called C.M.V attacked my body in many ways. It infected my brain, paralyzed my arm’s and infected my liver and kidney. My doctor told me I had only 5 percent chance to survive this ordeal. No medicine existed to cure this virus and I was send home.

After this experience and despite all worries around me, I realized that the ‘thought’ of dying had never entered my mind. I could see myself in the’ future’ being healthy and happy, and deep down I ‘knew’ this to be true! During the time of my recovery, which took me around two years, I went to see a doctor of homeopathy who subscribed me all kinds of ‘natural’ drops to support and clean my liver and kidney. Homeopathy is the art and science of healing by safe, gentle, and natural methods; the Homeopathic remedies are derived from raw, natural resources generally from the vegetable and animal kingdoms as well as from minerals. Although some remedies are used in less diluted form, most remedies in general use are highly diluted yet potentized; they are believed to have some, yet unidentified, physical energy that helps to stimulate the body’s own healing power. I realized that my illness came from the way I was thinking about myself and life, and that I needed to change my outlook on things. From this time on my research started, I wanted to know the opinion from scientists and doctors about ‘self healing’ and God. About prayer and about the effect thoughts have on one’s life. I began reading philosophical /spiritual and scientific books and articles. After a year of sleep, around May in 2003 I felt strong enough to participate in a three year education in 'Rebalancing' where I was taught that all daily life impressions are stored in the physical body, whether good or bad. As in my case the ‘bad’ impressions literally “banged” on my door. The thought behind Rebalancing is that all wisdom available lies in one’s body, and the body is one’s home. In order to be able to ‘hear’ this wisdom one needs a clean body and mind. It was obvious for me that the contact between my body and my mind needed to be restored, in order to find the root that caused my physical pain and disease. I learned to meditate which helped quieting my mind and with massage, yoga and breathing exercises I slowly accepted and entered my home (body). Another very important thing I learned was to deal with and let go of my emotions. Due to my illness I found my way back to the voice in my heart, I call ‘God’. I integrated praying in my daily routine which reminded me of the daily conversations I used to have with ‘Him’ as a child. But as I grew older I simply ‘forgot’ about my dearest friend and my fears grew.

I began analyzing my thoughts and dreams to collect ‘evidence’, and wrote all my findings down. I noticed how everything I asked for he gave, and from this I learned to be very specific in what to ask. Life’s experiences showed me how both healthy and negative thoughts turn into reality, especially when they are backed up by a strong feeling or desire.

While analyzing my thoughts and transforming the negative thoughts into positive thoughts, I practice on controlling my emotions which help me quite down the noise that comes to mind. I try to be mindfulness and to fully enjoy and stay in the ‘now’. At times when I succeed to keep my body and mind in the moment, I notice how easy and peaceful life really is, and how my body responds by being very relaxed. This made me realize the influence my thoughts have towards my body and feelings, ones my thoughts drift into the past or future and starts yapping about things I need to do in the following week, I immediately notice a tightness in my body..

Thru praying I restore the connection between my heart and my head. The law of life is the law of belief, and belief could be summed up briefly as a thought in your mind. My thoughts, feelings, and believes, make up the condition of my mind, body, and circumstances. Analyzing my thoughts helps me understand what I’m doing and why I ‘am doing things.

Essentially, answered prayer is the realization of your heart’s desire. I pray and express my desires and gratefulness many times a day before I continue with my daily occupations. I especially pray before falling asleep and when I wake up. At these times the rhythm of the brain runs slower which leaves my mind quiet and sleepy. This ‘dreamy’ state is called the ‘Theta’ brain wave. The subconscious is proven by neurologists receptive for new thoughts and information during the time of the Theta wave. I also want to explain to you the important role the subconscious mind has in healing and improving the quality of your life.

Algae Might Be a Source of Clean, Renewable Diesel Fuel

When researchers conceived of turning algae into diesel fuel three decades ago, the idea sounded like something out of the old sci-fi movie Soylent Green. But in July, ExxonMobil teamed up with biologist Craig Venter’s Synthetic Genomics to take algae biofuel to the marketplace. ExxonMobil has invested $600 million to design better strains of algae and to convert them into fuel. Meanwhile, several start-up companies—including Aurora Biofuels and Solix Biofuels —have built pilot plants that prove it is possible to brew algae-derived diesel fuel in large quantities. “At the beginning we’d tell people, ‘I know this sounds crazy,’” says Bryan Willson, a Colorado State University engineer and cofounder of Solix Biofuels. “But with the ExxonMobil investment, algae is entering the mainstream.”

Traditional biofuel crops such as soybeans yield 50 to 150 gallons of fuel per planted acre per year, but Solix’s facility near Durango, Colorado, is producing more than 2,000. The centerpiece is a sealed growth chamber, or photo-bioreactor, made from a clear polymer to let sunlight through; inside is a strain of algae selected for its high rate of oil production. (Closed reactors are less susceptible to contamination by outside algae than are open-pond systems.) After the algae are harvested, their oils are extracted and refined into renewable diesel. Besides sunlight, the algae require little more than carbon dioxide from nearby power plants, so operating expenses should be low.

Willson predicts his company’s algae fuel (and its coproducts, which are to be sold for animal feed) will be cost-competitive with petroleum diesel within five years. “It represents a large-scale solution to a global problem,” he says.

Reusing your plastic bottles is not good!

Are the rumors true that refilling and reusing some types of plastic bottles can cause health problems?

Most types of plastic bottles are safe to reuse at least a few times if properly washed with hot soapy water. But recent revelations about chemicals in Lexan (plastic #7) bottles are enough to scare even the most committed environmentalists from reusing them (or buying them in the first place).

Chemicals May Contaminate Food and Drinks in Reused Plastic Bottles
Studies have indicated that food and drinks stored in such containers—including those ubiquitous clear Nalgene water bottles hanging from just about every hiker’s backpack—can contain trace amount of Bisphenol A (BPA), a synthetic chemical that interferes with the body’s natural hormonal messaging system.

Reused Plastic Bottles Can Leach Toxic Chemicals
The same studies found that repeated re-use of such bottles—which get dinged up through normal wear and tear and while being washed—increases the chance that chemicals will leak out of the tiny cracks and crevices that develop over time. According to the Environment California Research & Policy Center, which reviewed 130 studies on the topic, BPA has been linked to breast and uterine cancer, an increased risk of miscarriage, and decreased testosterone levels.

BPA can also wreak havoc on children’s developing systems. (Parents beware: Most baby bottles and sippy cups are made with plastics containing BPA.) Most experts agree that the amount of BPA that could leach into food and drinks through normal handling is probably very small, but there are concerns about the cumulative effect of small doses.

Even Plastic Water and Soda Bottles Should Not Be Reused
Health advocates also recommend not reusing bottles made from plastic #1 (polyethylene terephthalate, also known as PET or PETE), including most disposable water, soda and juice bottles. According to The Green Guide, such bottles may be safe for one-time use, but re-use should be avoided because studies indicate they may leach DEHP—another probable human carcinogen—when they are in less-than-perfect condition.

Millions of Plastic Bottles End Up in Landfills
The good news is that such bottles are easy to recycle; just about every municipal recycling system will take them back. But using them is nonetheless far from environmentally responsible: The nonprofit Berkeley Ecology Center found that the manufacture of plastic #1 uses large amounts of energy and resources and generates toxic emissions and pollutants that contribute to global warming. And even though PET bottles can be recycled, millions find their way into landfills every day in the U.S. alone.

Incinerating Plastic Bottles Releases Toxic Chemicals
Another bad choice for water bottles, reusable or otherwise, is plastic #3 (polyvinyl chloride/PVC), which can leach hormone-disrupting chemicals into the liquids they are storing and will release synthetic carcinogens into the environment when incinerated. Plastic #6 (polystyrene/PS), has been shown to leach styrene, a probable human carcinogen, into food and drinks as well.

Safe Reusable Bottles Do Exist
Safer choices include bottles crafted from safer HDPE (plastic #2), low-density polyethylene (LDPE, AKA plastic #4) or polypropylene (PP, or plastic #5). Aluminum bottles, such as those made by SIGG and sold in many natural food and natural product markets, and stainless steel water bottles are also safe choices and can be reused repeatedly and eventually recycled.

Today our society is based on profit, including the health care system.Pharma companies only push is not to worry about your health,but to make money from your failing health. People often tell me, they believe if the companies could find a cure for cancer or AIDS that they would release it. I highly doubt that they would, see, they make money in constant treatment. With a cure, they would have to only sell one pill/treatment/etc. and everyone would be cured.Where would the money come from next? Instead they like numerous treatments for your ailment. Even if something isn't wrong, doctors won't send you off with a good diagnosis, no, they will send you to get tests and push treatment, why you ask? It is their business, and they need you..You are a customer, but where I have a problem is that the majority don't give any alternative options nor like to discuss them, because they don't make any money if you don't take their sponsored medical options..Sad but true.
I have studied the use of herbs for treatments and have come to find that herbs are much better then using man made chemicals to treat everything from headaches to backaches, even larger health issues such as cancer, hepatitis, even HIV.. Their are now more and more educated herbalist and more places to buy fresh herbs. The side effects of many herbs are normally very slight compared to the huge lists that I've received with pharmacuticals. If you choose to turn to alternative medicine, please be careful though, I recommend you study thoroughly or use a herbalist for your medical plan, as some herbs can be toxic or lethal if not learned about first. Whatever you have an abundance of...Just remember we don't need 90 % of the crap we have.. Do you want to leave a legacy when you die?Start today..Join a worthy cause..I joined Red Cross and you get classes/training opportunities and respond to emergency situations when time allows you..So Ill post couple links for you to check out!!

Today is Easter, so everyone please have a great day and enjoy the people who you have in your life. Remember the true nature of this day.Jesus was resurrected today after 3 days in the tomb! And try to remember their are alot of unfortunate people who have it much worse then we do, not having a home to go to, a family waiting on them, and good food on the table!

Will be posting updates on my published articles, poems, short stories, and am starting a project documentary- so far the title Im thinking of calling is "What's wrong with you?" - It will be on the aspects of the immensely violent culture, human violence on other humans,animals, and destruction to our home (earth). Why are so many people so numbed to the aspects of hurting others without a clear conscience?Why have we allowed our culture to push violence at such an immense level. What can we do about stopping or reversing this epidemic?
